Peacock.....

Now, I don't want to be that type of blogger that blogs about every outfit she puts on, or every moment that passes in her life - it would be easy however I'm sure - but today I did want to post my outfit for the day. The reason for this is because it's an outfit I used to not be able to fit into, which now I can... soo......TADA... I'm proud :) So what.

A little over a year ago I bought this skirt. I loved it because it looked like peacock feathers and it had the pockets on the sides which became a trend back then. It was flowy and so soft I just had to buy it. Now here was the problem, it didn't fit. I bought it knowing I would always have to wear it slightly unzipped and a long enough shirt to hide the embarrasing fact I bought something way out of my size. I didn't wear it often because of this fact and mostly because I was a little ashamed. Today, it fits and I am so excited because I LOVE IT! I can finally button it all the way up AND... AND tuck my shirt into it....

I love fall. The fall colors, boots, crisp air... all of it. Today's outfit made me finally feel like fall was here. The boots, the colors of my skirt and my new orange colored cardigan. I also went with my gold watch today. I love gold and orange together. Beautiful! I thought I would liven the color scheme up even more and add a little turquoise with my earrings.... Welcome fall, I'm excited you are here :)
