I love dying my hair, especially with the seasons. Summer of course I always want the blondest hair a human can possibly get, but once the weather starts getting colder, I start to crave the brown.... and this year it's hitting me hard. Everywhere I go I just look at the girl's hair around me and the hair color that I notice the most is brown. I think it's just beautiful on women. A dark chestnut brown.....seriously can you think of anything more sexy???
A hair color style that came out last season called "ombre hair " is a look I am thinking I am going to try and create this fall/winter season....
If you don't know what "ombre" hair is, it's when you have darker hair on the top by the roots and towards the bottom and ends its starts to get lighter. I think its so pretty and eye catching. It remind's me of when your natural hair gets lighter in the summer and then once winter starts it starts to get darker again.
Here are some examples.....
Now, I tried to create this look last winter season and it turned out "okay" but I did still enjoy it....
For the past, I say 10 years, I have dyed my hair brown at least once every year and I honestly love it, but I try to lighten it up a week into the change. I don't know what's wrong with me honestly. I think its because I am a natural blonde and I naturally gravitate to that color.
Anyways, last year I had much longer hair than I do now and I am not sure that the "ombre" look would look good with my shorter length cut?
What do you think? Would I be able to try and pull it off again with much shorter hair? What do you think about going a darker hair color for winter???
