Lately I have been trying to make my nails a little more approachable than my normal plain Jane nail.
All my ideas have for some reason revolve around glitter, not a big surprise. Today instead of skiing, which I would much rather be doing I decided to try out a new type of glitter nail. A glitter tip nail.
I decided to google image "glitter tip " and acrylic nails kept coming up. It doesn't seem like many people have attempted to do this themselves, and now I know why. It's not easy.
Here is what you will need:
1- nail color
2- clear coat
3- glitter
4- cotton swab
First you want to paint your nail any solid color you choose.
Once this dries, you will take your clear coat and paint the end of your nail where the tip is located.
Roll tip into the glitter.
Let dry, then use cotton swab to wipe off excess glitter.
Paint whole nail with clear coat.
Let dry.
Show off your nails.
Now, I know they aren't perfect - first tima- but I know how I'll do them next time. The hardest part is that little specks of glitter wander away from the tip when painting the last clear coat...so they look a bit messy. However, I do love them and for not being the best creative nail painter. I think I did a pretty good job!
P.S.
Nothing explains who I am more...
XOXOXO.
