.: 25 things you don't know about me....

A friend of mine who blogs gave me a suggestion for my up coming post. She told me I don't always need to share fashion, but I should also show my readers who I am. Become more personal.

She said that something most bloggers do at least once is the " 25 things you don't know about me." So I went with it.

It's weird when you sit down and think about yourself in a way people might not already know about you. Some, I'm sure people do know about me, but please give me a break - ha - it's my first time.....

Okay, so here we go....

1) I'm REALLY shy.

I think this is something people wouldn't believe who know me, but I am. My parents still to this day talk about how shy I am.

2) I used to have a bug collection.

I used to be obsessed with bugs, now I'm afraid of most.

3) I laugh at myself constantly.

I honestly think I am the weirdest person I know.

4) I cannot stand bare feet.

Yuck! I don't like the feeling of bare feet on anything, and seeing other people walking around in bare feet makes me cringe.

5) My biggest fear are objects deep in the water.

Example: I am terrified of buoys and the bottom of bridges, like where they connect to something deep in the water ? Don't ask

6) Boys who are left handed might be the biggest turn on EVER!

Again, don't ask. Ever since I was little I told myself I would end up marrying someone who was left handed, maybe it's because I'm a righty?

7) I don't like iced drinks.

I'm not fan of ice in my drinks and very, very much dislike ice in my water. I'm really fond of room temperature beverages.

8) I believe in ghosts.

Not much else to say

9) I will never put ketchup on a hot dog.

I am extra mustard and relish kind of girl all the way. Ketchup ruins everything!

10) My favorite smell is wet paint.

I think this is my favorite smell because it reminds me of my father ? I also really enjoy the smell of paint thinner.... potent!

11) I used to dream of being Britney Spears.

For years and years I took voice lessons, dance lessons and acting lessons so that I could be the next B.S. I used to sing and pop and lock at festivals and once even performed at half time at a high school basketball game. I also auditioned for an all girls group ( female version of Nsync ) but didn't make it because I was too young. She was my hero and I still love her till this day. However, I don't want to be her anymore.

12) I hate flying.

I don't like flying at all. Not that I'm afraid, but I have the WORST motion sickness and usually feel like I'm going to throw up the whole flight.

13) I talk to myself A LOT.

Yep, it's true. I have full on conversations with myself all the time. I have slight only child syndrome. I have a sister, but she was never home so I kept myself company.

14) Both of my elbows are double jointed.

When I was younger, my sisters best friend was swinging me around in circles by my arms and my elbows popped out of their sockets. This happened very easily for years afterwards and my dad would have to pop them back in. They don't anymore, but my elbows can do some REALLY weird things!

15) I dislike loud noises.

I have very sensitive ears so loud noises just don't do it for me. My parents will tell you I used to be afraid to flush the toilet when I was little just because it was too loud. Oddly enough, I go to a massive amount of music shows and that never bothers me.

16) I can't stand being tickled.

Urg! Nothing makes me more furious.

17) I don't like being late.

I am all about punctuation. I don't like being late and would rather arrive 15 minutes early and I can't stand when other people are late. Don't say we will meet at 10 and you arrive at 10:24. Nope, not cool!

18) I am a hopeless romantic.

I am so in love with being in love.

19) I get nervous talking on the phone.

This puzzles me. I seriously get nervous talking on the phone to people, even my best friends. The only person who doesn't make me feel this way is my mother. I could talk to her for hours.

20) My dream job is to be a Marine Biologist.

I have always been obsessed with creatures in the sea and wish my life would have gone in a different direction to be a Marine Biologist, however I knew I wasn't smart enough to do it as a career. It's pretty much the same schooling as being a doctor.

21) I once was on top of a shark.

Two summers ago in California I was body surfing and the wave took me so high above the water level that when I was coming down I could see a shark right under me. I started to cry before I even hit the water. I was pretty sure I was going to die.

22) Not a fan of the color yellow.

I don't know why, but yellow is my least favorite color on the spectrum. Yuck.

( Don't tell anyone, but my wallet it yellow - odd )

23) I can't stand Jim Carrey.

Annoying, Annoying, Annoying!

24) I love science documentaries.

I am a science junkie. I could watch science documentaries for hours on end. I just love learning new things about our world.

25) I have an original drawing of Sebastian of The Little Mermaid and Simba

One of my dad's friends drew both characters for the movies and drew one of each for myself when I was younger. I can't wait to hang them in my children's bedroom one day, except they say " Hilary " on them..... sorry future child.

Hope you enjoyed getting to know me better. That was a lot of thinking on my part.....

Well thought I would also share my outfit today. Sadly I just erased my shoe pictures off my comp, but nothing special, just my Sperry boots. I love those boots. They are the best!

Today I wore my J-Crew green sweater ( which I SHRUNK! Urg! ) and my favorite pair of jeans. To change the look up a little bit I added a black and white beaded necklace and a black beanie. I'm not sure how I feel about the beanie because it's one of those fashion type beanies and I'm still trying to figure them out..... what do you think about them?
