The life I live....

I'm a music lover who at the end of the day wants to feel as if she lived that day the best she could. Creating an amazing meal, hanging out with the amazing people I call friends, rocking out to some amazing tunes, buying a great piece of clothing or wearing bright pink lipstick..... Im optimistic about life and highlighting the moments that make it unique....

Gobble, Gobble, Polka Dot, Gobble..........

Hey everyone! I hope that you all had an AMAZING Thanksgiving. I sure did. I spent the day cooking with my mother and having great laughs with my family.

Dinner was amazing with so many options for my gluten free lifestyle and had plenty of desserts to choose from that my mother also made gluten free for my sanity. It's hard with our family because I'm gluten free and my sister is vegetarian... so Thanksgiving and every other holiday my mother really goes out of her way to make us both feel comfortable with the food on the table.... she is a wonderful lady I tell you :) even when she spends the night teasing me about.....pretty much everything I do and say... she is hilarious and my best friend on this planet. I can honestly say my parents are the silliest and funniest humans and just want to drink, be merry, play music really loud and dance the night away....

Yummy, yummy in my tummy.....

For my Thanksgiving outfit I really wanted to wear the color orange and to me the best color to go with orange is..... Blue! I think they make the perfect pair.
I decided on a short little polka dot number which I paired with a orange cardigan and an orange belt to bring it all together.....

I went with a over the knee sock and a pair of brown boots. Now, I do think that it would have benefited me to have a taller brown boot but I went with what I had on my closet floor....and I still think it turned out cute...

For my hair I wanted to wear it down, but didn't have the time to curl it so I just decided to pin it up into a bun. FYI, it's very makeshift. I only had two bobby pins to work with, but it held up all night...... so I did something right :) My make up was very simple. Just my regular eye make up with some red lipstick... I LOVE red lipstick :) It can truly make an occasion an occasion....

By the end of the night we were on our way out to our friends house so I threw on another zip  up sweater, which really looked great with the outfit as well.... I loved the pattern of the dress with the pattern of the sweater....

And off we were to our next Thanksgiving party.....

I hope you all felt as much love and joy as I did and that we all are thankful for the amazing lives we have. No one's lives are perfect, and I sometimes get down on myself for little things like not being done with school at 24, not working at my dream job, not having a dog, living on a very tight budget and not having as much money as I would hope... but at the end of the day I am SOOO THANKFUL for my family and friends, that I'm healthy and kicking, that I have a job to begin with and that I have a roof over my head.....and more so that I even have an opportunity to go to college even if it takes me much longer than others.....
I love my life and I honestly wouldn't trade it for anyone else's.... So thank you to everyone who make my life as amazing as it is..... I love you all!

XOXOXOXOXOXO
