Hi everyone! So the other day I got my November Birchbox in the mail..... and I'm not thrilled but I will share with you the things that came inside....
I just feel like much didn't come in the box this month. Last month there were so many items, this month there are less BUT there is something in the box that I WILL BE PURCHASING, which is the point anyways.....
Inside:
1) Super Smile whitening tooth paste. ( It's a little weird, a little gritty....but hope it works. )
2) Zoya nail polish-Noel. ( This has GREAT staying power, but the color was a little alien like... very bright )
3) Joer Lip Enhancer. ( This was very greasy but I think it would come in handy when my lips are uber chapped )
4) Kate Spade Twirl fragrance. ( This is the BEST smell I have EVER smelt - I'm buying this FOR SURE! )
5) Alex and Isabelle Hair Tie. ( Haven't used it yet, but they are cute.)
So, this was a new purchase I brought yesterday and tried today....
I thought I would give this a try because I have heard some great things about dry shampoo and since I school started I honestly don't have time to shower my hair every day like I used to....
So, for only 2.99 I figured it was a cheap trial run....
Results: I think it works "okay". The smell is very light and fruity and does fade after a few hours. I sprayed a lot in my hair line where blonde hair can kind of start to look funky after a day, and it made it look fresh once again.
I don't know if I love it enough to use it everyday that I don't wash my hair, but it was useful enough that I think it would help on days you are in a cram and need a little fresh boost.
Just adding in my outfit for the day as well.... NOTHING special. Ha! I woke up at 8:00 this morning, very late, and was at work by 8:07..... yes you heard it... out of bed and to work in 7 minutes! Might be a world record. I had only time to wash my face, brush my teeth and run out the door.
I put on a dress/shirt that I very much enjoy. The colors just pop so brightly.... I think it's just such a fun piece of clothing.... I added black jeans and my flower shoes.....
I just think it's important for girls to remember that you can change any dress you have into a shirt for the winter months and your wardrobe literally doubles! Also remember just because you are running late doesn't mean that you can't look "some what" put together... fun shirts are plus on days like this....
